Invoices and quotations
Share an invoice with your customer
Get the PDF, get a link, and send it the way your customer actually reads things.
Get the PDF
Open a finalized invoice and choose Get PDF & share link. You get the document as a PDF with your logo, your GST details, the tax split and the total written out in words.
If you have saved a UPI ID in Settings, the PDF also carries a QR code beside your payment details. Your customer scans it with any UPI app and pays your bank directly.
A draft has no PDF. Finalize it first — a draft is not a document yet.
The QR on the PDF carries the total the invoice was issued for. It does not go down as payments come in — a printed document cannot change. For a part-paid invoice, send the share link below instead: that one always shows what is still outstanding.
Send a link instead of a file
On a finalized invoice there is also a Share this invoice panel. Press Create share link and you get a web address you can send your customer.
It opens a page showing that one invoice — what it was for, what it came to, and what is still outstanding on it right now. There is a button to pay by UPI and a copy of the PDF. Your customer needs no login and no app.
The link shows that invoice and nothing else. It is not a way into your books: it cannot reach another document, another customer, or anything about your business beyond what is already printed on that bill.
Replace with a new link kills the old address and issues a fresh one. Revoke link kills it without a replacement — after that the page reads exactly as it would for an address that never existed, so nobody can tell whether there was ever an invoice there.
Only someone you send the link to can find it. The address is long and random, so it cannot be guessed or reached by trying numbers in order.
If the customer has a phone number saved, the same screen offers Share on WhatsApp. It opens WhatsApp with the link ready and you press send.
If you do not see the option, the customer has no phone number on file. Add one on their page and it appears.
You send the message, not us. Dukaaan does not message your customers on its own, and it never will without you asking for it first.
What we cannot do yet
Dukaaan cannot email an invoice for you, and it cannot chase an unpaid one on a schedule. Both are on our roadmap and neither is here today.
Until then: send the link, and use the list of who owes you to decide who is worth a phone call this week.
